Sintering and finishing ceramics
Two steps which merit special attention!
In our process, these last two steps are critical for the success of your project, since they guarantee the dimensional, geometrical, mechanical and aesthetic characteristics of the finished product.
Control of the sintering process
Firing ceramicsSintering is a process which involves heating a green (or unfired) ceramic part up to just below the melting point. Heat welds the granules together and creates cohesion within the part.
Because we develop our own formulations, we can control the size of the granules and the density of the material.
Finishing techniques
To produce perfect componentsMany finishing processes are applicable to ceramics and performed for two distinct purposes: aesthetic appeal or to obtain specific properties.
